Unsurpassed Printing and Cutting Accuracy

A host of advancements improve print and cut accuracy for true unattended production with the VG3.

• New crop mark options for cutting laminated prints or long production runs of print and cut graphics provide perfect cutting performance when used in combination with the new optimised side pinch roller pressure functionality.
• Newly designed middle pinch rollers raise automatically prior to starting the cutting process, allowing the media to be cut without the rollers travelling over the printed area.
• Print & Cut or Cut & Print - to increase media compatibility, the VG3 and VersaWorks 6 offer a new cut and print function to enable delicate media and intricate designs to be cut before ink is applied.
• A new take-up unit supports two modes according to the type of media chosen, securing take-up stability for smooth post processes.

• A New Generation of TrueVIS Eco-Solvent Ink

  In addition to seven colours (CMYKLcLmLk) plus White, new TR2 ink includes Orange, increasing breadth of colour gamut and adding real impact and high visibility to graphics. For even richer prints, a new Multiprocess Color Function has been developed so that Orange ink can be used in all file types as a process colour or spot if specific colour matching is required. Plus, it’s now possible to print then laminate graphics in as little as 6 hours* for same-day installation.

• True Rich Color Invented Here

  In order to take full advantage of the VG3’s superior colour reproduction capability and the wide colour gamut provided by new TR2 ink, we developed a new colour management preset, True Rich Color. Now vibrant colour can be combined with neutral grays, smooth gradations and natural skin tones to create stunning graphics.

• Automatic Pinch Rollers

  Newly designed middle pinch rollers raise automatically prior to starting the cutting process, allowing the media to be cut without the rollers travelling over the printed area. 

• New Media Clamps

  Smart new media clamps feature integrated grooves so there’s no need to remove the clamps when sheet cutting and optimised sequences now allow the VG3 to be ready to print quicker after finished print removal.

• FlexFire Printheads

  Four FlexFire printheads with precision droplet technology maximise print performance. Even in high speed modes the VG3 and TR2 inks deliver rich, smooth and exciting colour results.

• Includes VersaWorks 6 RIP Software

  The TrueVIS VG3 series includes the latest VersaWorks 6 RIP software, featuring an intuitive interface for smooth operation and job management and 64-bit native support and dual-core operation for processing PDF, EPS, PS and PDF 2.0 files with precision and speed.
