Up first is the Mimaki UCJV300 range which feature unique 4-layer printing for day/night viewing, integrated cutting, newly developed LUS-170 UV inks which enable immediate finishing, broader applications and increased variety of supported media. The second range available in this collection is the Mimaki CJV150 series of print and cut machines. The CJV150 Series integrated printer/cutter from Mimaki provides high performance, creativity and versatility with vibrant ink types, including new Silver, Orange and Light Black, in a cost effective package for sign makers, display graphics professionals and print shops. Solvent technology is one of the most established and popular solutions in the sign making and vehicle graphics industry, with high vibrancy, durability and quality. The Mimaki CJV300 Series is considered a production equivalent to the CJV150 Series. While the CJV150 is equipped with just one printhead, the CJV300 Series uses two printheads and is therefore capable of printing at approximately twice the speed.

- The MG Series is considered the direct replacement for the previous LEC2 Series. This offers all the same professional features for more specialised printing on an affordable, economic UV Printer / Cutter.
The LG Series takes this up a notch and is targeted at higher productivity, with faster printing speeds and a increased ink capacity.
- ▼Roland TrueVIS SG3 & VG3 Series - what's the difference?

The main difference is the ink configuration.
The Roland SG3 only runs four ink channels and would be configured as four 500ml Ink Pouches containing a classic set of CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black).
The Roland VG3, on the other hand, runs eight channels and can be configured with Dual CMYK or as an 8-colour set-up for higher colour accuracy.
The Dual CMYK configuration would run at close to twice the speed of the SG3 Series, due to the twice as much ink being fired at one given time.
The 8-colour configuration would trade in the speed advantage for a higher colour gamut, which is especially useful for achieving difficult Pantone references for the likes of corporate logos / branding / motocross and vehicle graphics.
The 8-colour options would be:
CMYK, Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Light Black, Orange
CMYK, Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Light Black, White
CMYK, Light Cyan, Light Black, Orange, Green, White
CMYK, Light Cyan, Light Black, Orange, Green
For many Sign Makers, the CMYK configuration is enough, so the choice will depend entirely on your target market and client base.
- ◄Roland's Desktop BN2 Series
- Finally, there's the Roland BN2 Series. This is a Desktop Print and Cut machine, all in one powerful, compact device. Considered one of the most affordable Printers on the market for entering into outdoor durable printing and cutting.
The BN2 Series is available as colour only (the BN2-20A) or with the addition of White ink (BN2-20) for producing window graphics and printing to dark, metallic and clear media up to a maximum media width of 515mm (20-inches).
