PROS: Available as an integrated Printer and Vinyl Cutter. Highest vibrancy, highest resolution, highest colour gamut and fastest production speeds (CMYK) compared to alternatives. Great flexibility for vinyl wrapping.

CONS: Solvent ink needs to cure / gas-off, which means it needs to be given time after printing before it is cut / applied / laminated in order to avoid shrinking or curling.

▼Roland TrueVIS VG4 & XG Series - Integrated Print and Cut

 The Roland VG4 and XG Series offer two levels of performance within the TrueVIS solvent range.

The VG4 Series provides outstanding print quality and versatility, making it ideal for day-to-day signage, labels and graphics production.

The XG Series is designed for higher productivity environments, delivering approximately twice the print speed of the VG4, making it the perfect choice for businesses looking to maximise output and efficiency.

Both of these models run TR3 ink, which is completely GBL-free. GBL is a controlled substance, which has been increasingly regulated worldwide in recent years. Historically, this has been used in all Solvent inks, with manufacturers now actively working towards its removal to safe-guard against regulation changes that could be introduced by parliament in the future.

▼Roland TrueVIS ER & XP Series - Print only

The ER-641 and XP-640 provide two distinct print-only solutions for different production needs.

The ER-641 is a cost-effective, 4-colour CMYK printer designed for straightforward, reliable output - making it an excellent choice for entry-level or lower-volume environments.

The XP-640, built on the same platform as the XG-640, is engineered for high-speed, high-volume production. As a dedicated print-only device, it maximises throughput while utilising economical TH inks for improved cost efficiency. 

◄Roland BN2 Series - Desktop Print and Cut

Finally, there's the Roland BN2 Series. This is a Desktop Print and Cut machine, all in one powerful, compact device. Considered one of the most affordable Printers on the market for entering into outdoor durable printing and cutting.

The BN2 Series is available as colour only (the BN2-20A) or with the addition of White ink (BN2-20) for producing window graphics and printing to dark, metallic and clear media up to a maximum media width of 515mm (20-inches).

In June 2025, Roland also introduced a Desktop 30-inch model (the BN2-30), which is available with or without White ink.
