Affordable, high-spec, high-performance, Solvent integrated Printer / Cutter.

The CJV200 Series integrated Printer / Cutter from Mimaki provides high performance, creativity and versatility with vibrant ink options to suit your print workshop, making it one of the most cost effective packages for sign makers, display graphics professionals and print shops.

This would be suitable for printing direct to Heat Transfer, Vinyl, Banner, Canvas, Window Film, Poster Paper, Wallpaper and a number of other substrates and also benefits from an integrating vinyl cutter for producing stickers, decals, labels etc all through one single machine.

Solvent technology is one of the most established and popular solutions in the sign making and vehicle graphics industry, with high vibrancy, durability and quality. The key consideration of solvent ink is that it needs to ‘gas off’ - this means that the print needs to be left for 24 hours before laminating, cutting or applying.

CJV150 vs CJV200

The main developments surround the printhead and inks. The all-new printhead (already used in the 330 Series) is roughly 50% faster and easier to maintain with faster cleaning cycles.

The Mimaki SS21 Solvent ink we all know is being replaced by TWO brand-new inks, the SS22 and BS4.

SS22 ink is completely GBL-free. GBL is a controlled substance, which has been increasingly regulated worldwide in recent years. Historically, this has been used in all Solvent inks, with manufacturers now actively working towards its removal to safe-guard against regulation changes that could be introduced by parliament in the future. We expect this will be the new standard, available in four-colour and eight-colour.

BS4 is Mimaki’s new ‘Budget Solvent’ ink, introduced to combat alternative inks, but with the major benefits being it will be covered under manufacturers warranty as an OEM ink. This will be available in 4-colour mode only in 600ml sacks. ‘Closer to’ SS21 than any equivalent ink on the market.

Finally, the Mimaki CJV200 Series will ship with RasterLink V7, with increased RIP processing speed and a new ink saving function to reduce consumption by up to 30%.
