We're often asked which Vinyl Cutter from our extensive range should be used for Paint Protection Film. The Graphtec FC9000/160 Vinyl Cutter is our go-to solution for this type of work.
The reason behind this is down to the guaranteed tracking distance, meaning there's very little movement over long length, the high cutting pressure to penetrate the thick film, and finally, the intricate cutting capabilities, which achieves sharp, clean edges without leaving snags or catches on the material. - ▼Motocross Wrapping Vinyl and Laminate

Much like the Paint Protection Film, the thickness of Motocross Vinyl and Laminate would require the cutting force of the Graphtec FC9000 Vinyl Cutter. That said, the strength of this type of product does mean the FC9000 is pushed to its limits. The only way to truly make this work is to stabilise the material using a workbench at the front and rear, set to the same height as the cutting platen.
We would recommend testing the FC9000 to check it does the job. Failing this, we would recommend the Graphtec FCX2000 Series. This is a Flatbed Cutter, which is better suited for this type of work, but does require a higher investment. - ▼Graphtec F-Mark Automatic Sheet Fed Cutting System

The F-Mark bridges the gap between a Vinyl Cutter and Flatbed Cutter. This takes the Graphtec CE8000 Desktop Cutter and introduces a sheet feeding accessory.
It's a great product for print-and-cut jobs (creating pre-cut sheets of labels & stickers) as well as the creation of small gift boxes and pre-production packaging samples without the need for an operator.
