PROS: Available as an integrated Printer and Vinyl Cutter. Highest vibrancy, highest resolution, highest colour gamut and fastest production speeds (CMYK) compared to alternatives. Great flexibility for vinyl wrapping.
CONS: Solvent ink needs to cure / gas-off, which means it needs to be given time after printing before it is cut / applied / laminated in order to avoid shrinking or curling.

PROS: Available as an integrated Printer and Vinyl Cutter. Instant Cure. Fastest production speeds when configured with White ink (ideal for Window Graphics). Extremely versatile ink that can adhere to substrates not typically made for printing. Cold cured (lower running cost and print on sensitive stock)
CONS: Flexibility not recommended for vehicle wrapping. UV ink sits on the surface and leaves a consistent matte finish.

OFFER HIGHLIGHTS - UV FLATBED
Flatbed Printers are designed to print directly to the substrate / board, removing the need for a carrier or self-adhesive vinyl to be adhered. This immediately reduces media waste and associated costs, introduces the ability to retain the substrate's natural finish (wood grains or metallic surfaces for instance) and finally, expands the variety of materials you can print.
UV ink will adhere to virtually any surface, so long as it's relatively flat. Over the years we're printed to the likes of metal, plastic, wood, acrylic, tile, slate, leather and rubber to name just a few. As these aren't typically certified for printing, it does mean trials are highly recommended as every product can react differently.
